De Burgh Gropes De Bruno... 80s crooner Chris de Burgh should be made a National treasure folks. Loooong before U2 were putting up Eiffel Tower sized rigs in Spanish stadia (and his progeny were winning Beauty pageants) the Northside quartet they were playing support to the Lady in Red singer... Wee Chris brought his handsome family along to the Bruno Premiere at The Savoy this week to experience Sacha Baron Cohen's latest offering... Chris de Burgh, Rosanna Davison You gotta love Chris de Burgh folks, you just gotta. Let's face it, his 'Spanish Train' album was thee record of the Eighties with hit after hit after hit. Tracks like Lonely Sky, Patricia the Stripper, A Spaceman Came Travelling, and the scary Spanish Train epic can still raise the hairs on the back of your neck - all timeless hits with just a hint of nostalgia thrown in for good measure. Chris de Burgh, Rosanna Davison, Diane Davison And when it comes around to writing the book of the all-time great Irish musicians and bands - our Chris will surely be up there with the likes of Phil Lynott, Van Morrison, Shane MacGowan, U2, Sinead O'Connor, The Chieftains, Rory Gallagher, Christy Moore, and The Dubliners (featuring the bould Luke Kelly). Westlife and Boyzone need not apply. Karena Graham, Chris de Burgh, Lynn Kelly CdeB made a rare public outing this week to attend the outrageous movie Premiere of Bruno at The Savoy cinema. And always one to be surrounded by tall beautiful women, St Christopher was escorted to the flick by his Miss World daughter Rosanna and wife Diane. Michelle Heaton, Lulius Hegedus The High On Emotion singer wasn't the only star there either... Former Liberty X'er Michelle Heaton was at the screening with Borat look-a-likey Lulius Hegedus. Either that, or boyfriend Hugh Hanley has really let himself go lately. Adele King (Twink) Other guests blagging free tickets and popcorn at the Bruno Premiere were: Twink, Neil Jordan, Brendan Courtney, Baz Ashmawy, Devina Devine, and quite a few others... Neil Jordan Photocall models Karena Graham and Lynn Kelly were also on hand and dressed in an attempt at sexy lederhosen. Their job on the night was to camp-up the kitschy entrance hall with their less than traditional Germanic dress and pose with the punters. It's all in a night's work. Brendan Courtney Sadly, we haven't actually seen the Bruno movie yet ourselves but from what me hear it's rather difficult to watch with oodles of full-frontal male nudity and gay sex simulation scenes. Or as would-be film reviewer Rosanna Davison proclaimed to our snapper: "it's just full of lots and lots of willies!" Well, we can just see THAT as the teaser-line on the film's posters. Devina Devine Bruno hits Irish cinemas this weekend - if you enjoy the odd cringe and squirming in your seat we recommend you check this one out. If it's good enough for Chris de Burgh, then it's good enough for us. Lynn Kelly, Karena Graham
